I had an after hours call last night at 1130 pm . 3/4 of the power to the house was out including the furnace . Eric showed up within 30 minutes . Figured out the problem within 10 minutes . We Ended up having to call fortis in as it was a powerline / meter issue . He then switched things around to get my furnace back on while I was waiting for fortis . He was then payed by landlord as they had to leave . After this though instead of just leaving he insisted on waiting with me until fortis showed up to make sure things ended in my favor .

Proline electric was extremely professional and knowledgeable when upgrading our out of date lighting (1970) and wiring new LED potlights throughout our main floor. Including adding lighting to our living room which like all typical 70's homes did not have any existing ceiling lights. The difference in lighting is impressive and gives the house a modern look. They easily dealt with the challenges of our low attic clearance (less then 1 feet in some areas) and loose fill insulation.

We just had Eric to our home and he was awesome! I love how Proline sends you a picture of the electrician thats coming to your home before they arrive as well, very good idea! This is a well run business. They have an office manager answering their phones and doing their scheduling. You explain your issue and they schedule an electrician. Once they attend the job site the electrician can give you a better idea of how long they expect the job will take and fine tune your estimated cost. Let them work or you will likely be billed for the callout. I've used them 3 times, they always show up on time, are professional, quick and honest.

Today was the second time I have used Proline Electric and I am very happy with the service I received. I was given a reasonable time slot both times, and the technician arrived on time both times and called ahead to make sure I was ready for them. The technicians were very clean, adhered to COVID protocols, courteous and they arrived ready to work.

I found their rates to be very fair, and the technicians put in honest work. The first time I called them was for an unknown issue that cause a power outage in my garage. With some people you would think this is an open cheque book to rack up billable hours, but not Proline. Before starting work I was provided with an estimate and an explanation of the work involved. The technician put in the honest work and solved my problem within the estimate provided. No sneaky surprises or charges.

We sold our home and needed the aluminum wiring pigtailed to copper. I reached out to Proline Electric online late Saturday night and was responded the next working day early morning. Cathy got information needed from me and scheduled Dan to come and give me a free guaranteed estimate. Dan came later that day as promised and had a look and gave me that price. I don't know what's a fair price when it comes to electrical work, but after reading reviews and having dealt with Dan and Cathy I was comfortable with getting the work done with them. They were able to accomidate my very tight schedule due to the sale of our house, which i really appreciated. Sheldon and Zane(?) Came early that morning and started the work quickly and efficiently. The Proline team was great. On time, courteous and professional. Had them in to repair a broken pot light, remove broken light bulbs from a ceiling fan (home owner can't use a step ladder) re-label the electric panel and replace two smoke detectors that were out of date. Update - unfortunately we felt like our service fell off a bit after our install and we felt I could no longer give 5 stars. We are having issues with getting an inspection done by the city with lots of mixed messages between Proline and city of St. Albert. Too many phone calls with callback promises that are not kept - not the stress you want in the middle of a reno.

We contacted Proline for some retrofit work and some light fixture install/moves. Right from the quote we were really impressed with how thorough the team was and how quickly they worked. I really like their email updates with the appointment and en route reminders - they include a photo of the tech so you know who to expect. They also suggested some great options that we wouldnt have thought of like dimmer switches and dropping a plug by the fireplace for the tv. We would highly recommend them for any electrical job and have done so to friends/family already!

4 visits made. On the first visit the major kitchen appliances were placed on their own circuits,, and new outlets were either installed or relocated. A second visit was scheduled to install an exterior outlet and to disconnect a countertop stove and this was completed as required. On that service call, we were advised by the technician that a new wire would be required for the stovetop, as a junction box could not be located or verified as safe and up to code. A third visit was scheduled but the technician was not prepared for the install and only verified what we knew on the second visit. A fourth visit was scheduled and all work was completed to our satisfaction. There was a communication breakdown between the 2nd and 3rd visit as to what was required in order to satisfactorily connect the stovetop, but in the end the job was completed in a very professional manner.

PJ and Dan came out yesterday to fix a problem in my office after we had installed some new equipment which made our lights flicker and go out whenever it was used. I had spoken with Cathy at Proline the day prior and explained what was happening and knew exactly when she would be sending someone and what I could expect. We have used Proline a number of times and, once again, our expectations were exceeded. Not only did PJ and Dan fix the issue but they also installed some cover plates and switch plates that we had just avoided looking at for a long time. We have a warehouse and an office area, however, they guys wore shoe covers/floor savers as if they were in a home. If I say that PJ and Dan are my favorites it's partly because we haven't met all of the guys yet. I'm positive from the service we have received that all of the staff at Proline are just as personable and professional. I definitely recommend calling Proline if you need an electrician.

We needed two double switches moved onto an adjacent wall. We knew we didn't need one of them as it shut off the lights outside the house (weirdly so) and the 2 of the others were doubled up. Eric was able to safely cap the ones we didn't need and got us down from 4 to 2 switches which was great.

The best part was they only opened the drywall below our new trim that was going to be installed and they even replaced it when they were done. No patch work needed. The new light switch box was installed cleanly as well with no need for any drywall work there either. Very impressed and happy with the service!

I had an after hours call last night at 1130 pm . 3/4 of the power to the house was out including the furnace . Eric showed up within 30 minutes . Figured out the problem within 10 minutes . We Ended up having to call fortis in as it was a powerline / meter issue . He then switched things around to get my furnace back on while I was waiting for fortis . He was then payed by landlord as they had to leave . After this though instead of just leaving he insisted on waiting with me until fortis showed up to make sure things ended in my favor .

Proline electric was extremely professional and knowledgeable when upgrading our out of date lighting (1970) and wiring new LED potlights throughout our main floor. Including adding lighting to our living room which like all typical 70's homes did not have any existing ceiling lights. The difference in lighting is impressive and gives the house a modern look. They easily dealt with the challenges of our low attic clearance (less then 1 feet in some areas) and loose fill insulation.

Once they attend the job site the electrician can give you a better idea of how long they expect the job will take and fine tune your estimated cost. PJ and Dan came out yesterday to fix a problem in my office after we had installed some new equipment which made our lights flicker and go out whenever it was used. Not only did PJ and Dan fix the issue but they also installed some cover plates and switch plates that we had just avoided looking at for a long time.
